Flex / Strech / Freeform Tents:

We use the name Flex-, Freefrom- or Stretch Tent to describe the unique ability to stretch and shape the tent to suit individual sites or client requirements.

The Flex Tent's specially developed 2-way stretch fabric gives the rigger the ability to configure the tent in a variety of shapes in traditionally awkward environments. Tents can be rigged on the beach, on rugby fields, off walls, over pools, around trees, on balconies – and even in your own back garden. Poles of varying length are pushed into the fabric to create the beautiful parabolic shapes and eye-catching character.

What makes it unique:

Strech Tents can be rigged canopy style with all sides up – a particularly attractive feature on warm sunny days, or where it would be a shame to block out the surrounding views. When weather dictates, tents can be rigged as weatherproof enclosures with all sides down.

You can control the anchorage points by moving the clamps around the Stretch Tent.

  • The unique two-way stretch fabric means their capacity for transformation and re-invention of space is spectacular. Re-determining a constructed space is simply a matter of repositioning poles. Popular applications include:

  • 100 % water proof. - Water column: 5000mm.
  • Fire retardant: certification M2.
    CanvasCamp Stretch Tents have been tested to comply with EU and USA Fire Standards making them safe for any event, at whatever venues. Whether used as tent, marquee or canopy, you can have peace of mind that your venue wont go ‘up in flames’.
  • Rot proof movable/removable clamps. The mounting options are endless partly due to fact that you can control the anchorage points by moving the clamps around the Stretch Tent.
    - Clamps: 3 clamps per side = 12 + 4 spare.
    - Corner clamps: 4 + 1 spare.
  • The sail is made from two layers of specially coated stretch fabric and a layer of synthetic rubber.
  • UV-resistant. UV-index: 7. Both layers have been treated with a UV-filter.
  • Carrying bag: Tough PVC tarpaulin bag, 650gr/m², Roll velcro to decrease the volume.
  • A major advantage over traditional marquees and event coverings is that a Flex Tent goes up comparatively quickly, with a smaller team, and with less impact on the venue. They are lighter and less bulky than alternatives and therefore easier to transport.
  • Under a Strech Tent –it’s different experience again. There is an impressive sense of volume while the coloured fabric creates ambient interior light and a warm and inviting atmosphere. Back lit at night – the tents are simply spectacular!
  • Seams: all seams are 'high frequency welded'. This results in a very strong and 100% waterproof seam.
  • Reinforced corners.
  • The canvas, stripped of the clamps, can be washed in an industrial washing machine.
  • Tent pegs: 16 + 4 spare pegs, 50cm / 20inch long, galvanised steel T-profile.
